With the release of the DEADPOOL movie last weekend. Really got me to think that a superhero can do well. Even it's rated "R". Does this shows us how to make good "R" rated superhero film? Yes it does. Because you don't need force parents to bring there kids to a film that is not for them. I never thought that superhero films could make a ton of money. With that "R" rating slapped on it for many reasons. With the biggest reason being that. The movie will not make a huge profit from all the experience that was put it the film.
Now I did hear that a script the reboot Spawn is done, but now it's got a trim from 183 pages to about 120 pages. To me this sounds a bit of a bad idea. They can just shoot the whole thing & just cut out a few sense that they don't like, but other then that I think it's gooding to be a much better film. Then that water down, action 1997 film that sucked. I hope that this one is a "R" rated too. I did hear that the creator Todd McFarland did write the script. Plus he did said that he did write the script. So that is good to hear. To see in to the future that all superhero films need to be rated "R" or not? I think that if you water down a mature rated material. You lose that core audience that loved the about comic or other licensed adaptations. If you kill off on what made something good you killed off that hardcore audience that loves the franchise. Now I haven't seen DEADPOOL yet, but I hope that it's just as great as people are saying it is. So maybe expect a review from me this coming weekend. OK, just to be fair about this little rant that I'm going to have today. I subscribe to both of the Fine Brothers channel on YouTube & from time to time check them out. I do like their work on their videos that they put out, but do think it's a good channel to kill a little time. If I got a moment for a good video.
Now with that out of the way. I got the news that the Fine Brothers where going to come out with "React World" & thought it could be something new from these guys. At first I thought it could be a new channel where all there "react" videos are going to be or just another channel from them entirely. Boy I was so wrong about that. It was going to be a Muti Channel Network that only favored them. They would of aloud people like us to use all there resources, graphics & them promote your work for little to no money at all. I understand the core of the idea, but if we the people who do the all hard work. Then get next to nothing for it. You had to see the red tape on this scam of a idea. A few of the channels that I subscribed to did have very strong words for this very bad idea that the Fine Brothers put out. One did called them "Greedy Jews". Another said "Fuck the Fine Brothers" & others just called them out on their scam of an idea. Now they did explain it better in a Q&A section on their Facebook page, but very little was answered to their fans. Then another video was posted on their YouTube channel saying that their scraping React World. Then later apologized for any confusion. |
