I rarely would ever ump on any kind of a hype train. I fear that it will be a wreak that I feel a shame to jump on, but after this weekend I was so much hyped to see the new Trailer for the Justice League film. To be fair about this. I as a bit disappointed with the teaser trailer that was released last year, but I did have some hope that the CGI was not in the best of shape. With the one that recently dropped. I do have fate in the DCEU more then ever.
I do hope that we can lean more on the plot & death of the movie soon. I did hear some of the plot, but I'm shore on how much is true. I do think that with the way that we can get & share the information now days. I really do believe that most of the information is kind of true. Now I'm going to say that the rumors that I have heard on the film. I will say that I like on the story that a few people are saying. I do like the way that there is a big different in the way that the characters looked in the both the teaser & official trailers. I do remember that Jurassic World did the same thing & surprised me on how well it did. Can the Justice League do the same thing? We can only wait & see. It will be out his November & I bet won't disappoint the Hardcore fans. Today I made the decision to buy the domain to this site that I worked hard to build up from the ground. It was never easy to start this adventure in June 2015. At that point I was just getting by on work for family, But now I found this site with the money from a part time job that I have now.
I hope that you all can show your by help me out by coming back from time to time & send me some feedback of your own. I not going to do everything that you guys tell me that you me to do, but will see on what that I can do all by myself. I will see on what I can do. I'm going to make a promise that I that my not be able to keep. I from my past that I have not been able to keep my word. Do to personal reasons, But can tell you all that I will do my best with what I got in my hands. I will be taking donations to keep the site a premium value as long it needs to be. I can up the quality as long as it's needs to be. If there is enough feedback to get forums, memberships or anything that I get weebly. I will get feedback from you guys first. I may do a few polls on some of the bigger ideas that seem a bit out there. I will get a support page up & see if I on how big the support is for the sit can be. This is a uncharted adventure for me & I can really need a help from you guys. So I hope that this journey is going to be a wild one. This past weekend was a great one for me. For the first time Oklahoma City had a new little convention The LEGO expo. It was bit different feel of a expo then what I'm use to. It did feel like a good type of convention that I have been uses to & seem to me that I was happy that I got to see all the great builds that was there.
Now not to be mean on this idea. The only pass that they had on sell was 1 day pass. There was no weekend pass to buy. Now I kinda know that it will sold out for both days, but it only sold out for Saturday. Sunday still had a few passes left. I got my mine back in January. So I was in good shape to go. It seem that there was just too much big builds & not enough vendors there. I think like 10 vendors where there & a artist that can turn you into a Lego figure of your choice. Now there was a few custom Lego sets there, but not a whole lot of things to do. I'm not saying that this event is lame by all means. It was just a little of a let down to me. I hope that it does come back to Oklahoma City next year. So that I can hopefully give another chance to impress me in a better light. I did have a great time there, but I wish it had more vendors, space, access to water & food. With the few things that was wrong with it. I hope that next year will be awesome. I don't mind some people ask me which plantfrom that I personally game on from time to time & then get into a nice debate like adults. We may not see eye to eye on a lot of things, but we can see where the other one is coming from.
Now I just hate to say this, but as a human being. It sickens me to read a story on the internet. That a group of Fanboys attack someone that has a different opinion then them. At times I get a bad look in my face & start thinking on Why the hell is wrong this world. I understand that everyone can & will have a different view on a game, movie, comic or music that we are getting are hands on. At times I do stop to think that we do over react to a opinion that we don't like. I myself have done the same thing that when a jerk reviews something that I tend to like, the only differents is that I never attacked a single person. You people should know by now that I really hate to say things that little to no sense on some topics. Like "Why there is so much white washing in films & T.V. shows?", "Because we can do it." or "What ever."
I'm just go & say this. I understand why there is a white guy playing is Iron Fist, because in the comics the Iron Fist is white. Yes I know that there was a Black woman Iron Fist, an Asian Iron Fist & who knows that other type of Iron Fist is out there. Now I think we do need to quit casting white people in non white roles so we can have a better diversity in this modern world. I think that is a big step backwards is diverse world we live in. Do I think that we have no real choice in who is playing in a role of the character. No we don't. So the thing we can do is see if it works or not. I personally don't have Netflex. So I can care less is this shows fails or is a success in the near future. At times I just wish people just see if the person playing the role of the Iron Fist is good enough to live up to the hype of the show. As I was checking my post on Facebook this morning. I seen a post reminded me on the fact that the great actor John Candy died on this day.
I seen a few of the films that he started in, but the one that I liked the most is Space Balls. It was a parody of Star War in the 1980's. It true is a cult classic film that we need to watched at lease once in your life.He was good in many other films, but it was always Space Balls that made me crack a smile almost every time that I watched it. My his films be a show of hard work in show business. Rest in Piece John. If you have not herded by now. Bill Paxton passed away this past weekend. He was just 61 years old. I not a big fan of his, but he did star in the movie "Twister" in 1996. To me that film was mostly shot here in Oklahoma. It was to me he biggest movie that was in at the prime of his acting cheerer.
I never met bill in person, but the stories that I have heard about him sounds like that he was always the life of the party. He was always the same type of person off screen as on screen. I knew of a few times that he did had some kind of trouble with some of the lines that he was going to say, but he did make some great quotes that we will always remember in his films for years to come. |
