After seeing the first image of the Ghost in the Shell alive action film. It really me start to think that it really don't feel like a Ghost in the Shell movie at all. I know that I'm judging only one image of this film that is still being filmed as of right now, but it seems that it may fail.
I never liked live adaptations films that seems to be promises so much that never delivers the heart & soul of the property that it is base off of. Now I know that there is a way to make a good movie, but with so many different people that got a say in the process of making a good film. Which can be done if some dick headed suit just let people do there job & quit putting there nose in the whole production craziness. To get back on point. I think that we need less movie that think that they can just "See what is popular & make a ton of money that we don't know a thing about." Even if it was a good idea to movie it a movie in the first place. What can they think of next to mess up. With video games being a example of Hollywood is just buy up things just to turn to movies that suck. I hope that anime is not the next not going to be a Anti Asian completely. With many characters that identified themselves as Asian of some kind. You know that thing that I really hate to do is hate something for no reason. In this case is one of these cases. For a few weeks now many critics have been panning one of the best superhero films ever made. Yes that is Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Now I was seen this movie this past weekend & I'm still happy on how great the film was. Even thou there was a few things that I didn't like. Which most of the issues where that I had with the pacing with the film. I can understand that, but the most of the problem is the over used of the CGI. True the CGI can ether make or break a film. If you carefully need to see where the CGI can help you to move a film, but with out over doing it. We can see a great story in a world that can not happy in the real world. Now the story seem to feel like two different stories are coming together that works out very well. Some parts could out been change to feel less political & more based in the comics. With that said I hope that we can see that this is a great film that tries to put the biggest comic book characters ever. When I went to see it. The theater was almost full. I was shocked that so many people went to see a awesome film. That the critics where tearing apart for no good reason. I just wish that most of the critics just open there minds to a great film that was years in the making. Over all Batman vs Superman is a great film with a few problems. That is not a bad thing at all. So go see it anyway. Its a film that a brings a great cast of character that makes it feel like a awesome way to kill some time with the family. About 16 months ago I heard that Oklahoma City dose have a few small, but good conventions. At first I didn't like to believe it, because they weren't a big draw. So I beside to found out if any of them were any good.
Last year I went to one called Super! BitCon boy I was so wrong. After the was done I just knew that I had to come to this years event. Man I was so happy that I did go to this years event. I mean there was so many vendors, Merchandises & panels there. Most of the games that was there are classic, but some newer games where there. Just seeing how much some of the classic games where going for is just an eye opening experiences for me. The panels where not the best, but I did have fun with some of the host.
