Review of New World Comic Con 5.

For the past 4 years I been going to the New World Comic Con & has been nothing short, but sweet to see a lot of great indie artists that like to sell the art, crafts or comics. This year's event was no short supplies of great artists there to show off their work to the world.

This years event was held in a building & it was a great change that needed to happen. There was a lot more vendors & cos players that I found out that are from the area. It was nice to see some faces that I have not seen for a while there. There was a small part that was the kiddie area for all the little ones that was there. They had a Pokemon scavenger hunt thru out the event.

Some of the vendors that were there are the same & some new vendors as well. Which was nice thing to see that there was a good mix of types of vendors. There was also some Cos Players that was at the event that I never seen before, but I didn't go talk to them when I was there. I just hope that I can see them again soon.

I know that there was a lot of guest & panels that was going on, but I don't hit that part of the event ether. I just looked at all the great art work & didn't seem to check out the whole event. I guess that I should of walked around the other parts of the building as well.  My bad.

Overall It is a nice event to go to for a day & not pay too much to get in to have some fun with the whole family. To me it was nice to see that there was a lot activities that any one can do. It shows that this event is not just for Adults that collect comic books, but for those that love comics at any age.

This year's event was just a test to see if we show the love of fandom. To me I think that the fandom will always win. Because only we know what we love & no one else do.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the lick of posts as of late. My life is a bit of a mess with family & work. So it has been not a whole lot of time to post things as quickly as I like to do.

So lets get to the review of a new convention that I heard about few years & didn't go for what ever reason.  IndigeNerd: Native Comic-con, Arts & Crafts started a few years back & held at a casino that is not to far from my place. I don't know what to see there & what kinds of crafts to see there. So got there walked around the area that it was held at & thought it was a nice little convention go to check out for the first time.

At first it looked any other convention that I been to, but this one had a lot of great crafts that were Native American themed. Yes it had a few people there in costume to make it feel like all the other conventions that i been to.

They had a big kids area both inside & outside of the event center. I was happy to the amount of vendors there. A small number, but still a good number of them. I was happy to see that some of the crafts that I seen there did have a comic book theme to them & was done very nice.

PC build update 2.

Sorry for that lack of posting. My personal life has been very busy for me. So I think that is time for  an update on my gaming PC & my plans for it.

I only need to put a few fans into the case & hook up some of the cables. Like the power cord, monitor & internet cord or card. I been think on which to go with on a internet part for a some time now, but can't seem to pick which way to go.

One way is cheaper to go & the other is where I can put the antenna at time that I like to be at. So I been looking at both sides a lot. This is going to be a good time for me to learn that on how I see the final project comes together & all.

There is one more part that I been thinking about getting. That is a battery back up surge protector. I been using one for years now & think that i will be nice for me to get one for my gaming PC. With the amount of money & time that have spent to this point. I think it would be nice to make sure that it don't go to waste.

I have been very lucky so far that I got the amount of money that I worked for. Is going into my ridge that I've been working on for the past few months. With me working hard at my jobs & help from a good friend that helped me putting to PC together I'm just happy it's coming together that way it is.
