I was just going thru Facebook today & I found out that this 25th Anniversary of Home Alone. All man talk about a classic film that I loved as a child. Now being all grown up I was just happy to see that it's been 25 years since the release of this family film.
I haven't seen it in many years, but if I ever fine it I'll defiantly buy it & see if it still holds up. Most films like this are nice to see all year around. Seeing this film close to Christmas. Is very nice to have all the family to watch again & again. As many of you guys know. Today is Veteran
This past weekend I thought it would be nice to see the amount of people that lives in the Oklahoma City area loves anime. Boy was I just shocked to see all the great cosplay from some many different anime that I never seen before. Plus hearing about a few more anime that I never heard about that I may try to watch very soon.
The best part was that there many artist from different parts of the U.S.A. & Canada showing off there art & hand made items that they were selling to the public. There where some merchandise like DVD, swords, model kits, clothes & many more stuff that I can think of right now. There where some panels, but I only went to one of them. The topic was "Anime in America." That had to be the best history of anime in the whole world. The group that did the panel is called Vitamin H. Their view is amazing. I was just shock on many anime came to America. Witch most of them where are poorly dubbed or heavily censored for many reasons. At the end of the day. I was just so happy that there was so many anime fans in Oklahoma City. Next year I'm going to try to do all three days, go to more panels, buy some artwork, maybe some craft, models kits or swords. I just can't wait for next year's event. |
