Today marks 20 years since the release of the first Resident Evil game. Since then it really shows that a game that had a lot chessy moments in the bad voice acting, cheap scares, great characters & so many though boss battles. At the time Resident Evil did have some of the amazing graphics, but by today's standards seem to be OK for the age of the game. I just think that Resident Evil is one of the best horror games that really push everything at the time to the limit.

Now with some of the more modern installments of the franchise. It seems to me that it serious has been going on a different path. Just seems to be failing to improve on the earlier games on what made it great. I know it's not a bad thing to try something new, but if it's not broke then don't fix it. I really hope that we can get more game like the first Resident Evil. To be fair that is not going to happen any time soon.
