New World Comic Con 4 review.

If there one thing that I like about is a local convention that I like to see. Is that shows that we all can together for day out of the year to see at the great comic fans coming out of their holes to see there favorite character in the real world & buy a lot of stuff will take up some in that hole that they in live in.

This year had to one of the best for New World Comic Con & did a lot of new things there this year. I have been seeing some local non profits at some of the conventions that I been attending & thinks that is a good idea to do. If you like to get your name out.

Some of the vendors that were there last year are back & some new ones as well that really seem to fit the mold of the event. The level of guest was a bit of a step up from last year. I didn't get to see any of the panels this year, because they didn't seem too interesting to me from the tile. So hate to say that they great, bu I didn't see any of them.

I was asking myself this question when it was brought to me. Was it the attendance bigger then last year? I don't think that I have an answer to that very question. Even as when as I'm writing this post. It was just to hard to tell do to the layout & seeing the numbers from both events. I just don't know if it did or didn't grow this year.

Now I just wish that I can find something that I thought was wrong, but to be fair. The event was a great one to go to this year & I just can't find a thing wrong with it. It's nice to go to a one day event talk to people, buy stuff & have some fun their.

I just can't wait till next year.

On Tuesday a video hit the internet about ComicCon in San Diego this pasted weekend & it was a was a total hit piece that just shows that SJW s just had to do. To me in few parts of the video I did see that the few of the people that they interviewed pointed out that some of the SJW's politics are killing a great medium. That have been working for decades with no problems at all.

Now we wonder if somebody was going to be telling the other side of the fight that they had started & I was happy that they had the guts to pick a person that is a fan of comics. Not some fake ass person that thinks that they know all about comics.

They picked Richard Meyer of Diversity & comics. I had to say that he was a good pick to see that a person see thru the lies that anyone can see. I was shocked that this idiot was poorly informed on what makes a great comic book character relatable in the first place.

One of the biggest issues that I had was the way it was edited to make Richard look like a raciest, sexist beget. As they had a this group of cos players make it look like that we are the ones that are the villains in the fight.

To make worst. He came up with a new superhero that was a slap to the face to a very touchy subject at I will not go in to. So you ask me that some SJW s are just so lacking a bit of common scene in this world. I wish that somebody would "NO" to that idea or cut that part out.

We all know that this stupid personal identity politics is killing the way that we look are comics & some people just don't care about it. I just wish that a few of these fools just quit there meaningless campaign to change the world of comics to there needs & never force us to listen & believe their lies.

Personal Note: I will not like the video because I think that this fool is not funny at all & think that he is right no matter what. Then I can't support a fool like that.

James Gunn's dark social media past.

I'm just going to say this about the tweets that James Gunn did in the past. Yes then do seem a bit dark & creepy for those that think that somethings need to don't need to be many fun of at all, but he did say that he was sorry for making those post 10+ years ago.

For a small some of people that think that it's OK to take things of out context. Just to spin in a way that fits their objective to paint him as a monster that he is not. I do understand that anyone can take a small drop of information & take it a differently then someone else can.

I took them a dark sense of humor with a " Oh this is what he is talking about." & no harm is done to anyone in the end, but others thing that he was promoting the things that he was tweeting about. From what I seen. It was just his dark humor that he had at the time that got him in trouble.

Did Disney had the right to fire James for the tweets that posted before he was with them. Yes they did, but they should of did a bit more of digging into his past. Instead of just hire him do to his talent in the first place.

Now I was sick to see a few of the tweets & did see that James did apologize in many interviews that I have given over the past few years. So I guest that I we can try to forgive him on his state of mind before he was with Disney.

I do forgive James for is past tweets for now, but I hope that we stop jumping to any conclusion for a person's dark sense of humor that is not taken out of context for another person's gain in the world that we have.

To my knowledge. I don't think that I seen one of his films & may try to get one to see if I like it, but I my just let things die down before I do that. If some of his current stuff is good then I will see if I will like to try some of his older stuff as well.

For now I will say this. As long as he was not promoting the things that he was making fun of. Then I guess that we can love his work again in the near future that he will work on. I just like to see all the facts are all out before judge him in the long run.

I just like to wish the best of luck on his future projects & endeavors.

Forbes' hit piece on Total Biscuits great legacy.

When you hear the pasting of a great person that had a high standards & never goes back on their stance on a hot topic that people are talking about. After getting wind that a he has passed I was shocked to hear that he has lost his with cancer.

I don't make a post about his death because I wasn't a huge fan of his work, but I did like his reviews & opinions on video games that he covered. So my thoughts on his death was not to strong enough to make a post on his passing.

The right thing to do in this case was just let his fans remember his legacy on my things that talked about & respect where he stand on most of the topics that we disagree on. So people like me can try to be more open on touchy subjects.

About 2 weeks ago Forbes that it was nice to trash a man that was always specking his mind to his fans. So they can see on if a game is good or not & is wroth our money. Yeah he was a bit hard on some of the game developers that made games for a living.

Yes some of the developers did attack him after word of his death was know to the world. Most of them was just sick to see & bring up for now, but you just don't attack a person after hearing of their death. To be clear that most on the people that where doing this were on big named projects that had a lot of hype riding on them.

Then I hear about this article from Forbes that took it to another of sick. I don't read at all. Just heard it early this week & hearing that that it nothing more than a hit piece on a dead man. The parts that I heard that people that where talking about. Made it sound worst then you think.

If you can't show any respect for those that are trying to make industry better by telling it that they need to improve there game on some areas that needs to better than this. That was his job to do in the first place.

Did his stance on gamer gate cost him to get this hit piece in the end. Maybe so, but something so low can kill a point of view the way that you have on a person is very out spoken on things. I just wish that people just quit hating those that disagree with. I just wish we all can get a long with one anther & not stoop to child like antics.

Some quick thoughts on the She-ra reboot.

At times I really don't care about a reboot because most of them seem to be a mix bag of hope with me & with the history of reboots also being mixed. Some where good & others was bad.

Now I been looking at the pictures that have released & some people are not very happy at the design of some of the characters that are in the show. With that said I do get that most people are not happy with the look of the characters that seem to be a bit off to those that know what the characters should look like in the first.

You can think that I will hate the new look of series & be bashing it for She-ra looking too much like a man, but your wrong. The main issue that I see is that if you see a woman that looks like a man then & say that kids are going to like this. If kids see that the woman looks like a man. Then you have a problem that you need to address.

I been hearing a lot a views on this, but I can't fully think one way or the other on this topic, but do think that the problem is that making a woman look like a man is not a good idea. If you make kids think that's OK for a woman to dress as a man. Then the parents are going to have to explain their kids why that a woman is dressed as a man. Then they have to watch the show with their kids to see if there fears to worst then what they think it is.

Now I'm not going to watch the show because I don't have a Netflix account to watch it, but I do have a family that do have one that I may try to see it & give it a try. Now I will try to watch the original series to compare the shows & see if I think that the backlash is really needed.

After see a few videos & what there stance is on topic & not fully agreeing on their stance. I do see their views. I can can't seem to understand why that She-ra looks like a man in a dress is not a good design for a kids cartoon that will point it out as that.

I just like a man to look like a man & a woman to look like a woman. That should be the only thing that I need to say. If you have to disagree with me. That is fine with me. I like to here more on this topic without getting into a fight.

With all that said. I do think that this is a bad idea that may fail in the long run, but I can be wrong. So this may be successful in the end. This is just my opinion on this so I don't care if this get a second season or not & if it gets a loyal fan base after this.

My thoughts on the last Jedi.

This past weekend I had the chase to see Star Wars The last Jedi & I was not happy with it at all. I'm not going to a full review of the film. That will come later. Let me me just say this is on of the worst films that I have ever seen.

I'm not completely shore what the hell was the writer was thinking on some of the story that was just a throwback to Empire Strikes Back with a new skin on it. Now some of the characters are OK, but lack the backstory to make it a good film.

The main story starts where The Force Awakens ended & they are leaving their base because The First Order ships are very close. Somehow they found them & The Resistance attack the fleet then escape.Now this part is not explain at all. For some reason The First Order was about to track The Resistance when they was in light speed at all. It seen t me that they can anything without telling us anything.

Luke Skywalker is now a grumpy old man & Yoda is a total jerk that don't care about the history of the Jedi that seems to mean nothing to them at all. At points I was seeing my heroes that I looked up as role models. Are now total assholes that don't care abut life any more.

Some of the story that felt that is was just put in the story to see if we care about any message that was put in it. Like animal rights witch was a part of the film. I did see some child slavery in the film as well, but it was not talked about in the film at all.

As parts of the film I was just look at it & thought it was a dumb move, this part makes no sense at all or I was not impressed with a move in the movie. I was sick that they put that need fuel to run the ships. To my knowledge fuel has never been part of the Star Wars universe at all.

I'm a Star Wars fan no matter what. This film is just a slap in the face to many fans like me & this makes fan fiction projects look a master piece. I mean Rian Johnson is a just a fool to think that most fans will love this installment.

The think that I don't like the most is that most of the new characters are poorly written & got to except them as is for there grand debut is just a shame that we got such weak characters that we now got to go with for the exit few films.

We do need a better overlook on this franchise. If this continues then Star Wars is going to die a horrible death. I just wish that we had a better writer & director for this film. It killed all the things that I like about this franchise.

I guess that I still love the love that I grow up on.

How to make star Wars great again.

For the past few months. The news that I been hearing about Star Wars has got me a bit concern that it's going fall hard very soon & I think that We can't do much about the fate that it was for it. As a life long fan of Star Wars I'm to a point that we need to standing up for the franchise that we all love.

I'm planing to see The Last Jedi this weekend & after all the fans opinions that I have head about I'm hoping that its as bad as many fans made it to be. Now I did give you all my opinion on The Force Awakens & was very mixed with it.

Now I do love both the original & prequel trilogy films. I thought that it was complete & that the story can live on in the hearts of the fans, but I was wrong & it started up again with a new story & cast to take over the franchise. Which don't seem to go well with some fans & myself at times.

I try my best to not say that It's trash, this is not my Star Wars, I don't count this as canon or what ever that these people are saying to other fans. I try to stay out till I have seen it in the first place. Which is hard to do at times with so many people that already have seen it & got some strong opinions about it.

There are just so many ways that we can take a review to a movie now days that we can't take them serious. Until we see it ourselves & see how wrong most of them are, but some can be right in a way. I rarely trust some sites for their reviews that they post. For various reason that most of them are sucking up to Disney.

I do blame some of the problems on the higher ups at Lucas Films & those in charge of the films that we got up to now. I do think that Disney should share some of the blame for promoting there ideas that are killing a great film franchise that I once loved.

Knowing that I can't do much other then share my thoughts with you all. I just like to say that I can't be any more happier that to share them with you. This was a easy to say because I loved the original films that I have see countless times in my youth & as a adult that still love them for what they are. A great story that change the way that a film can be.

With so much unknown for the way that Star Wars is going, I just hope that fans like me start to see. That a change is need to make some fans once again love this great franchise that we loved as a child.

Some thoughts on Comicgate.

I didn't start getting into comics till 2015 & think that its a has a great community in its self that is very to new comers like me, but there is a few people that can make it a very toxic place to love. I'm saying that I don't like these people & wish them harm. I just wish that they quit spitting out hate to there fans & calling them names.

There is a lot that I can learn for those that know a lot more about comics & know witch writers have the best stories to tell. I can't wait to see with great stories & worlds that I will enjoy in the long run. With so much too try out in the world of comics I can see many with great artwork as well.

Now for that past few years that I have been seeing a big push on changing some of the big named characters that I liked as child & that is saying a lot from me. Now I do try to be far on new interpretation of a character that may sound good at first, but will it last for a longer time the original design of the character? I mean some of the changes lasted for far to long then what then had to be.

So I guess that we so of the characters that got switched for no real reason to begin with. Other than the publisher forced the change to meet a diverse check list of some kind to please everyone all at once. Now I just hate to see a classic character just get a sex or race change that makes it look like the worst ideas ever.

Personal I think that it's a bad idea to mess with a great iconic character that has been the same for decades & is loved by countless amount of fans. I can take small changes, but not huge massage ones that make them look like a new character to many of there fans.

Now you can change their origins a bit to be in the modern times, but it has to be a good change that feels right to the character & don't feel cheap to the fans. With that said I have seen that a changes that can kill your brand for a lot of fans that kill any hope for anyone that like to have in their comics.

Just to open about this part that I don't personal dislike the most of changing to a great characters is their sexual orientations, terms, definitions or what ever else that can come up with & force the fans that love the characters to believe that they been like that for years.

At times I just wish that we all can have the real character that we all fall in loved with as a kid. It really hurts to see a fun character that we like to meet in person one day & some day to dressed up as them to show off there hard work on making the costume of that character.

To me most of the time I hate to see anyone personal politics in their work & just makes me sick to my stomach that we are forced to read a garbage book that is not action pack with great writing that we will love forever.

Now we got a political comic book with the characters that we grew up with. Most of these books have so bad writing in them that the writer keeps on working on other projects to make them look like rock star do to their politics.

I know that I'm sounding like a I hate the writing, but some of the art styes that are in them are just as bad. Now I can see if it's a young person that is trying to step up their game to match some of the best artist in the business, but not veteran that been do this years. If the art style is not so bad that it feels the world that it's in. Then I think that the art has a cool feel to it.

The only things that I like to see in my comics are good stories, art work & characters that make me like to collect all the issues in the series of the comic, but with so many fools that have to change the way that we enjoy comic books these days.

Should all patreon creators disclose there earnings?

I just decided start a Patreon page to help support this website & YouTube projects that I will be doing in the future. One of the options that I had to choose is to rather or not to the amount of money that will be coming in to public or not. So I picked to show you all the money that is coming in to me at all times.

This will show that I'm going to be fully disclosed the earnings of my income off of Patreon. Now I will also going to show you what I'm buying by posting all the items that I use for all the reviews, interviews, conventions & anything else that I'm talk about on this site or YouTube that needs to be out in the open.

With that said. For the last few days that I been watching a few videos that talk about a cos player that goes by the name of Amouranth. This getting some heat for not fully disclose her total earning on Patreon. Plus there been a people catching her in lies about not being married.

I'm going to focus on the money part of the claims for now. With that said I took a look at her Patreon page today & found out that has as of right now 902 patrons. Then I was looking at her tiers that she got for each rewards & I'm guessing that most of her following are men.

So I think that she 50k - 900k a month. The only reason that I think that it's that high is because her top tiers include nude pictures & videos. Her biggest tier dose hive the money go to a charity, but I can't fully conform that any of the money that she gets even goes to a charity at all.

Now I do that she gets more money from YouTube & Twitch very month as well, but it not that much compare to her Patreon. I'm attacking Amouranth for any reason. Other then not showing us the amount of money that she making.

Should all the Patreon creators show the amount of the income every month? I think that it would be nice if they can or at least be open on where the money is going to at all times. With supporting some indie artiest that are trying to keep there lights out. I think that it's OK to know where the money is going towards at time,

If I had a huge following on social media I would be fully open on everything that I can do with my fan base. Now I do make a few errors that had I wish that I regret at times, but I'm human & we are not a perfect being on the planet.

Where ever the wind may blows. I guess all I can do is just go with it.

In defense of the original Jurassic trilogy.

Last month was the 25th anniversary of the first Jurassic Park. As a huge fan of the great series that it is. I do think that it will have a lot hate throws it mainly do that a few fans will not like a installment or two of the original of the trilogy.

I did get a chance to watch the trilogy again & still think that it dose hold up to my memories of the first time that I seen it. At first I didn't care much for the third movie as it was in the theaters & as time passes I did change my mind on the third move a hole lot, but still think that it was a bit weak for what it could of been.

The one main reason that I still love the original trilogy is simple. The first film was a massive part of my childhood. I still love that scene where you see the herd of dinosaurs after all the main characters got on the island. Yeah it may not aged well to some people, but to me it is still breath taking.

Some people may have lost interested in the franchise after the Jurassic Park 3 & not wonted to go see Jurassic World, but I did & think that it was a good way to restart the franchise with a clean slat with a great ideas.

Yes this idea of a restart of the Jurassic franchise was a good idea to begin with. If the is a good way to keep the Jurassic franchise going for years after this next trilogy. Then I like to hear about & hopefully that I can enjoy it as well.

If there is no third trilogy of the Jurassic franchise. Then I will be fine with that & will love all the Jurassic films that did come out the same. Now I'm just a odd person to think some o these ideas & hope that some or none of the crazy ideas that I think will happen.

The thing that I like to see is that something that I love to see thrive into the hearts of those that can enjoy that I know that everyone in the world can enjoy. Will the Jurassic franchise continue after Jurassic World? Will it be successful? Can it the film out there? How many more installments dose it have left in it before it's no longer the Juggernaut that it once was?

I don't have a answer for these questions, but I hope that in time we may get a few of them will be answered in time.
