After their failed new line of comics that they tried get off the ground. Witched sounded nice to see any of them would be fun to see if then did as good as some of there other stuff. At first I was mixed to think that it as a nice idea to see if it was good to something new. After a little bit seeing what the internet was thinking about some of the people that was doing the new line of comics. I was thinking that some of the comics are going to be bad or just be drop before they hit the stories that sold them.
There was a time that I was a little bit happy that DC was trying to have a bigger catalog of amazing new characters that stand out from all the rest of their great characters that they already have. I know that taking risks like DC did was a big one that did not seem to pay off in the long run, but they did try something new.
Now with the cuts that they had to make. It shows that most of the people that was laid off. Where out fit for the job that they had before they were let go. I think that it was a good call that had to be a big impact for all these that work at DC comics.
If you ask me DC had no choice that cuts were going to happen at all Time Warner after AT&T bought them. Is this going to be more cuts in the next few months? I think maybe not. There is a ton of good people that work at DC Comics & most of them do have a record of making good comics.
With the crazy things that they tried to push on to the store shelves & expect them to do very high sells numbers. I think that we should give them another try to win us back & make some money to show that "We can make great comics for everyone that buys them."
the only thing that I fear as of now. Is that somebody will force DC to go down the wrong road & make DC close there doors for good. I personally don't like to see the to close down for any reason at all. I like to see all business to succeed in this world that we live in.
I really hope that one day Marvel will do some kind of cuts & see who is out of work for all the bad choices that they had made to sink that company's image for the things that did. I just wish that we don't have to lower the standard for great comic books stories.
