Is Hollywood "White Washing" Ghost in the Shell?

After seeing the first image of the Ghost in the Shell alive action film. It really me start to think that it really don't feel like a Ghost in the Shell movie at all. I know that I'm judging only one image of this film that is still being filmed as of right now, but it seems that it may fail.

I never liked live adaptations films that seems to be promises so much that never delivers the heart & soul of the property that it is base off of. Now I know that there is a way to make a good movie, but with so many different people that got a say in the process of making a good film. Which can be done if some dick headed suit just let people do there job & quit putting there nose in the whole production craziness.

To get back on point. I think that we need less movie that think that they can just "See what is popular & make a ton of money that we don't know a thing about." Even if it was a good idea to movie it a movie in the first place. What can they think of next to mess up.

With video games being a example of Hollywood is just buy up things just to turn to movies that suck. I hope that anime is not the next not going to be a Anti Asian completely. With many characters that identified themselves as Asian of some kind.
