Are indie films cool?

For the few years I been see a couple indie films that seem to be next big that we all like to watch when ever I have the chase to relax. Now there are some that are good, bad & odd films out there to watch. With the way that the internet is. We can watch some of the indie & underground types of films.

Now I really hope that in the future that some of the big named theaters do try to promote these smaller films. Because we seem to see the same thing in many of the same type of a movie in every single movie in the last few years. There maybe a few movies that try something new with mix results, but it's still a over hyped film that needs to be point out.

I just wish that we can see a film that takes a small idea that makes some scene to people & hopefully it may get a huge following with a few loyal fans in the wake. I'm not going to say that "We should just flood the market with indie films." I'm saying that we need to ask for more indie style films to be shown & thank the great minds behind the films that we got to see.

I know that this just a thought, but something needs to be done on that fact that we need to see more indie films on the sliver screen in this day & age.
