It seems that the one thing that I hoped that never happen has just started. To some people a thing that is called "Anime Gate"is here. I never thought that it would ever start like this & boy it's going to be a show for the ages.
To far about his I always thought it would start like how Gamer Gate started & have a strong impact on the anime industry after the dust has settled. Then we can see if the industry can be a better after they seen the wrong doing of their actions.
Well I was wrong about on how it was going to start. It all started after the release of Dragon Ball Super Broly. one of the main voice actors Vic Mignogna. After the a few weeks the movie was out in theaters. There was some rumors that he has been sexually assaulting fans, being rude to staff members at cons, homophobia, antisemitic & other things that I can't confirm that he has done in the past 10 years or so.
Now I do have a personal interaction with Vic & he was just a nice person that loves his fans. I can't get my head around the fact that Vic is a monster & a evil person. With all the reports that are going around that are not giving a lot to make a full decision on the reports.
Since the reports of misconduct started. Vic has lost his job for Rooster Teeth & Funimation in just a few days apart. To me this is wrong to do to a person. Now I been seeing that his convention schedule for the year is almost wiped out. I was just sick that this is going on in this world.
Do we need a good investigation on theses claims? Yes we do. I hope that when all the claims are false & the people that are making them up are put in their place in the jail cell that they need to be in for making up these lies against a person that did no wrong doing in the first place.
I may not forgive the fools that started this hate campaign in the beginning, but as times goes on I hope that I will someday that I can understand on why they did it. To me these heartless people need to think before hit that send button. Once the internet. It can't take it back.
There is one more thing that I like to say & that is. I do wish that Vic the best of luck on clearing his good name. The lawsuit maybe a long one, but it will show that the truth is brightest light that will not be castes over.
