When the first Deadpool dropped I was very happy to see that Fox made a R rated superhero film that pulled no punches that many fans like me expected from a character that was very not family friendly at all.
It seem that the humor that made the first film was still there & the action was cranked up to 11 at times. It truly was worth the what & change of director. The comedy that was in the film has to be the biggest part that I like in the film.
One of the things that I liked was how well that they hind the biggest villains of all time the Juggernaut. I'm not the big fan of the Juggernaut, but after seeing on how amazing he looked & just happy to see that the character was near perfect. I was thinking that it was a real person.
Cable was a slimmer then in the comics, But his motivation was perfect. The look & feel was at time off to me. That was to be expected to see what kind of Cable that we will see. I was hoping to get a hard headed, battle harden Cable or a light hearten, comedy type Cable.
It seems that we got a mixed of both. I thought that they way mixed the two types was a good idea for some fans of both types of the character was a good idea. I was hoping that Cable will return home & be with his family that he was trying to save.
All the main characters that made the first film are back in this film & some of them have a bigger role in this one. Few of them where a bit under used in film, but not in a bad way. I didn't care about there change in the film. I just wish that wasn't so lack screen time & little dialog.
Wish that some of the backstory to Cable was flushed out & Limbo parts where dimmed down. Then seem like a "Talking to God" moment to me & I don't mind them, but then feel out of place to me for the film.
