Now I can't say much about this convention since it's a new to Oklahoma & it was a the first years that it took place. I can say that it was the level of guest that was there shows that owner of the shows knows how to put on a good event for the fans of anime.
Can this event continuities for the local area that surround it? Yeah It can. If they play their cards right. If they don't give in to the people that don't grave it ate to the convention seen & think that very thing is ok for all the wrong reasons. Then it will be just fine.
We all know that any convention can live on for long period of time if they keep up the good work & don't listen to non customers that will never come to the event in the first place. Will I continue to go & support OkiCon? Sure. If they take the feedback & improve from what didn't work on this years event & make shore that will not happen in next years event.
All in all. I think that this a nice good first year event that could of had better planning, but it was still nice to see a new event to Oklahoma & just wish it was in the spring. Not in winter.
