With a lot of classic games that are out there & some of them seem to have a very loyal following in there own right. I do see that most of some games that people think that need to be have more excess to. Like have them on a digital store so they play there favorite game over & over, but it's not available do to what ever reason that is given. I do try to understand the reason that is given to the public & all, but I do see that some reasons are kinda weak to me.
Now here are some video games series that I think that need to be rebooted. My first game is a bit of personal favorite & currently replay now is BloodRayne. This gem of a forgotten classic game that had a small, but had its fans that loved the franchise & was mixed about the three movies that was released. Now there has been talk about a reboot & nothing has happen since 2015. Now I will still have some hope that this franchise can be rebooted & have a fresh start in the modern era of video games.
This next game is a bit odd pick, but I think that it maybe a long shot. Parasite Eve was a based off a book of the same name. The game takes place after the events from the book & really was one of the best games of its time. it did very well that got a sequel, but the sequel did get a lot critical reviews on the fact that it did feel like the same as the first one. I can see the diffidence in some of the play thoughts that are out there. I think that it should go back to the survival horror roots & Just can't see that any other way.
Another game franchise that I have the highest hope that will be rebooted is Onimusha. This series has about four games in the main series. I played the first games & a bit of the second installment. To me that was about it for me. It was a OK game to me, but see way that it was a very popular game series for its time. This is one of many games that I been trying to get into, but never seem to fully got into the franchise. After that I hearing that CapCom has been renewing the trademark to the series. I got a bit of a surprises that this forgotten game maybe getting a reboot in the future.
Now this one is a really good franchise that needs to be rebooted. Dino Crisis. Fans for years have been asking for years that this series needs to be rebooted. The first game was a hit with everyone. The second one was a bit of a let down, but was still good by some people. By the time that the third installment hit the shelves. It got panned very hard by everyone that had played it. Now I'm not going to say much about it. I think that it needs to be rebooted for the right reasons.
This last game that I like to talk about is in a bit of a odd state. Shadow Hearts series has always been a mixed bag of opinions for a video game series. I do understand that try anything that is new can be very risky, but it was a nice to see something new. From what I remember of the franchise it had a nice size of a fan base that still like to have a new installment of the series. The combat was looked like that could change the way that most RPGs where at the time. The biggest thing that some people don't like was that most of the characters where to not that different in their back stories & just too Gothic throw out the series. I get that some people don't like a setting at times, but what can you do.
