Should we trust in Rotten Tomatoes?

To be fair about this on this post. I never fully trusted some reviews on many sites that just give the person that reviewed movies & games for many reasons. One of the reasons is the fact that we all know that some reviews are paid or given a small gift to get a good review that don't matches my own views of film or game.

With me spending my own money in order in get the experiences on what some got to enjoy it for free. It does show a bit of a favoritism for the media. I don't get to do anything for free. I got to pay just to give you all my point of view on something that others get for free. Yes I know that some the bigger named sites get the better deal in the end, but that doesn't hurt me at all. It makes me a better then they because that I'm telling you opinion on "what a mess" or "how great a film" is in my reviews & all.

Let's talk about the biggest Elephant in the room that is Rotten Tomatoes. For the past few year they have been the site that can make or break a film when hit the theaters & see if the critics are right or wrong about the reviews that they give the films. Sometimes their right & sometimes their wrong. I'm fine with some of the big named critics that think that a film is good or not. To me I just like to see if the fans that are going to see the film are liking it. This is why that I think the fans' voices are the reason the I like site like Rotten Tomatoes. It's nice to hear their take on the film & see if the critics are right or wrong about the same film.

The one thing that that I liked the most was Rotten Tomatoes had that I kinda liked was the "What to see" on all the films that will be coming out soon. Now that is gone for some odd reason. I think that some big named person at Disney called up to Rotten Tomatoes & told them to pull the feature from the site. I'm for shore on that, but I do have a my some reasons on what was going on.

I think that Captain Marvel's "What to see" was at 27% before the whole site was change, but it was a bit strange to get a good feature that was fine till now. I get that some people do fear very low numbers that kill something that is very hyped up, but a small amount of fans form one site can't kill any film.

With all that said. I still don't think that this will stop "Review Bombing" which is major problem that some sites like Rotten Tomatoes will ever fully stop this problem & get any reviews that truly see the real review of a video game, comic, film or T.V. show. I know that there is no magic bullet that can fixed all these problems in the long run, but it's a start.

There is a small light of hope that someone is giving a fair review of product that is not there & it's a good one in the end. We all need to be grateful that there are people are giving their views on things that are out there. We can't always trust a single site that give out reviews. We need to see what others are saying & hopefully their opinions are a bit better then others.
