Last month we all got a teaser trailer that GhostBusters 3 is in the works & as far as we all know that most of the original cast is on broad to come back to do it. After this news got to the cast of the fail reboot got wind of this. It was to the long waited sequel of the original films & not their film. They don't take to the news very kindly to the reports at all.
So I thought it would be nice to see the original two films & see how much that I remember seeing as a child. Man I forgot on how much that I forgot of them. To me they a small part of my childhood to believe in ghost stories today.
Now I don't think that they it has aged very well in the CGI parts of the films, but at the time it looked amazing in my little mind at the time that I first seen the films. Some of the humor still hits it's mark in both films & still gets me smiling on most of the jokes.
If you have to ask me I can see these films as classic films that need to be respected for what they did right for there time & how they was able to pull it all off the final version of the film that people got to see in the theaters.
Can the third installment be as good as the first two films? I think so. If they can get the original cast to come back for one more time & past the torch to younger set of GhostBusters that can care a big load of hype for the future of this franchise. That may happen if the fans of the original are happy with the way that the story is done.
To me I think that the original films are still as great today as the first time that I seem them. Yes the effects in the late 80's where a bit bad & cheap compare to today's high quality CGI effects. For some odd reason I still love these films & can't explain why I do?
We all need to love all the films that we see in your lives. Because if we let those that hate classic films that changed the way that we see the world & like to make a movie of are own one day. We all have to play by a set of rules that is always changing.
I just real just like to say that We all have hope for the next installment of the GhostBusters franchise in the next year. I will always have the films that I grow up on & will always loved them for what they did right & amazed my young mind. I just can't wait to see a great GhostBusters film on the big sliver screen at a theater near me.
