You know I'm just so lost for words it this & yes this is now has to be a thing in 2019. I got wind of a site that reviews T.V. shows & movies on diversity. At first I thought that it was a joke, but after some digging around. It was real & there is a site that review T.V. shows & movies on how diversity something is & how good the story is.
I did some checking on the social sites that they had & there numbers are not the good compare to some other sites that I follow. They are asking there fans to support them on patron. For them to keep up subscriptions for more reviews on the site.
As checked out there review (which there are mostly modern media). They only seem to focus the gender, ethnicity, nationality, and LGBTQ status on the characters & not how good the writing & cast that doing the hard work the make the product the best that it can be.
Now I don't care about on what the e color of the people that are play the character in the project. I care if I will love the project after that I get done watching it. Not hating it for a lick of diversity of any kind. If the movie or show was good. I will like to recommend it to other people. If the movie or show has bad. Then I would not speak of it to any one.
This to me is not a good idea. In today's crazy world that we live in. I think that sites that judge things on how good or bad something is. Is just a weak minded person that lives in a bubble that is about to pop.
I'm not saying to attack these sites & those that run them. Just let them hurt themselves & then we can see there failure in do time. If they fail. They fail on there own & not because of us. I do wish that some of these people just wake up & see the same world as we do.
